Digital Designer - Senior - Contract
Our client is a high-profile New Zealand brand, looking for a Digital Designer to join their Auckland team in a senior level role on a 7-Month contract in-house. The purpose of this role is to support the house Creative and Digital Marketing Teams for the digital transformation project, which is reimagining the customer experience.  As a senior level Digital Designer, you will be responsible for setting up reusable templates, designing assets for the websites across a range of brands and producing a library of assets for the new website and app.  You will collaborate with the Creative Team and Motion Directors, UX/UI designers, Brand and Digital Marketing teams to produce excellent creative and practical solutions which adhere to the brand guidelines, new digital design system and accessibility standards. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, as the role will manage the end-to-end delivery of work from initial briefing and content preparation through to stakeholder review, approval and production release. You will be responsible for ensuring digital experiences are delivered accurately, efficiently and consistently across all digital platforms. You will: Design digital content for the website and the app. Create and maintain design templates for reusable components.  Collaborate closely with the Art and Motion Directors on the application of brand standards and guidelines. Work closely with the UX/UI team to ensure the new digital design system is applied correctly and adhere to accessibility standards. Work with a degree of autonomy and attention to detail. Work across various streams from brief through to finished art within timeframes.   Relationship Management: Build and maintain working relationships with the Creative, Marketing, UX and UI Teams, and other teams within the project. Develop collaborative and productive working relationships.  Ensure that client feedback is managed in a calm, professional, creative and timely manner, and facilitate creative feedback sessions. Participate in workshops or planning forums. Present creative concepts, design recommendations and solutions to stakeholders  Respond to feedback and incorporate changes while maintaining design quality and customer experience outcomes.  Support a collaborative and positive team environment.   You have: Adobe CC with Figma Innovative and creative approach to design work and problem solving, and a natural eye for what looks good. An understanding of digital design principles, responsive design and accessibility standards. An understanding of customer journeys and UI. Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with partners. Ability to take initiative and direction. Comfortable in multi-tasking and managing multiple projects and deadlines at one time.
