Our client is made up of a team of best-in-class digital marketing practitioners and creatives, who work together to push the digital capabilities of their clients forward. Located in Central Auckland, they are looking for an intermediate level Graphic Designer / Artworker to join their team.
Because this is a small but high functioning team, this role allows you the opportunity to sit with the ECD and collaborate directly with her, realising and artworking concepts and rolling out all deliverables to finished art. This is a rare opportunity to get close to the creative brains of an agency and learn from one of the best.
You will have 4-5 years of experience either in an in-house team or agency side in an advertising or design team and if you have a relevant tertiary qualification, that’s a bonus.
You are motivated to work independently and listen when needed, and also question when necessary. You work well in fast-paced situations and bring a solid knowledge of the full Adobe Creative Suite and production processes to deliver finished art. The occasional, simple HTML 5 edits and banners knowledge would be advantageous, along with basic content edits.
You can multitask without dropping the ball and have a strong understanding of brand fundamentals and how to follow guidelines.
You can absorb a brief, clarify it and respond with well-thought-out solutions. You are confident explaining and presenting your ideas with a passion for innovations in technology and their application - specifically AI.
